Pavo turnaround

I wanted to create a really rough turnaround for Pavo to get a better idea of how his design might translate into a 3 Dimensional space. Because his design isn't finalised I didn't want to put too much effort into it, so I decided to draw the front  and one side view of Pavo, then flip the two drawings and change the inner lineart to look like his back, that way the outer lineart would remain the same, only flipped.

I tried redrawing betty with a bit more character from her earlier designs and try to make her look not quite as generic, I also thought the close up of her might be a bit more detailed so I decided to give it a go. I took a similar approach when I redrew Pavo, trying to keep the more recognizable shape composition of his body while adding in some of the older characteristics if his design to give him a bit more character.

I managed to record part of my drawing process. as I did the sketches on paper then uploaded photos of them I couldn't capture the sketching process, but I did manage to capture the lineart process as well as editing some of the sketch to better fit the art style and be more consistent for the turn around. Next I want to look more into the gross up and try to develop what it may look like in ugly fish as I don't believe there has been a whole lot of research or development in that area yet.
