Character sketching

As I have finished most of Betty's character bible I wanted to start focusing on sketching out the other main character designs, Pavo and the waiter. I think I have a pretty good understanding of Pavo's design, as his shape composition is very easy to understand by referencing previous drawings of him. I used Bella's drawings for Pavo's character bible in the discord channel ad a reference to try get a better overall feel for his design and the changes and tweaks that have been made to him. 

The waiter I still feel like I haven't really gotten a hold of his design, I think the shape composition is a lot more complex, especially for his face. I think the way his body is composed is a bit easier to get the hang of but I think drawing his face from different angles might prove to be a bit more difficult.

I tried drawing Betty, Pavo and the Waiter in a new pose so I could draw them without an exact reference. I feel like my understanding is getting there, I'm reasonably confident with Betty and Pavo's design but I feel like I need to draw the waiter a bit more. I think it'll be god having more high quality finished references to work off of for the waiter, so once his character Bible is complete I feel that will be very helpful.

We also need to do more development for the background characters. I'm planning on referencing the original ones Melissa drew and trying to update them to fit the current style a bit more accurately. I might also come up with a few new characters to help fill out the background more and make the restaurant feel more busy and crowded.
