Working in After Effects

After filming the short film hollow chambers in the green screen room we've been learning about how After effects works, as well as how to key out green screen and mask out any part of the scene not wanted. 

I only have a small amount of experience with After Effects, so learning more about how to navigate around and use effects have been very helpful, especially in imagining different things to eventually do with my own project

Learning to use a green screen has also been really cool to learn as its a really useful skill but I had no idea on where to even start.

I was surprised at how quick it was to key out the background on the shot, I'm really looking forward to learning a bit more about matte painting as its also a skill which I feel will be very universal and helpful across a wide range of projects moving forward.
