Intro to compositing

Compositing encompasses many different aspects of editting within film making, these include:

Special Effects
- Usually used to refer to effects done during filming such as pyrotechnics / rain / wind / flying rigs.

Visual Effects 
- Computer enhanced imagery which is added in post production
Compositing 
- the digital manipulated combination of at least two sourced images 

Motion Graphics

I'm considering doing motion graphics for my project but I don't quite know what to do yet, but I think something like an Opening or an animated Music video would be fun to do.

One of my current inspirations at the moment is the Opening title sequence for Brooklyn 99 as it incorporates live action film and motion graphics. I also like how it gives focus and personality to each of the characters introduced, so its not entirely aesthetically driven as an opening.
