3D model progress
The main thing I still need to work on is the Hair for my character model, as I wasn't quite sure how to tackle it. I watched the above video to get an idea of how other people might go about it, but for now I'm attempting to model it similarly to how we have modelled other parts of our character. I plan on tackling more of this tomorrow, as well as placing and fitting it to my main model, UV unwrapping and Texturing using substance painter.
 I am using the references I used to model my head, so as long as I can somewhat follow along the concept art I cant imagine too many issues popping up. because the hair has a lot of volume I'm guessing it'll take a fair bit of messing around and adding lots of edge loops to have more vertices to work with.This is what I have in profile so far. Overall I'm happy with the silhouette, however I have more details to add in. I am thinking of also slightly simplifying some aspects, like removing the cowlick on her hair as I feel like it might be difficult to implement.
As for the rest of the body I have UV unwrapped and done the majority of texturing and colouring, with the exception of the hair.
