Research progress

Since Last class I have narrowed down specifically what products I will look into getting made. I am planning to have a tote bag on display, as well as stickers that will be available for anyone visiting the gallery to take one if they want. the feedback I received has also made me reconsider the size of my display. I think I might use a smaller table, but I still want to go with the general aesthetic of this sketch

I created a cleaner sketch where the display is more compact, yet still able to display the stickers and tote bag. I really like the look so I wanted to keep that intact in its design.

For the tote bag, I plan to finalise a design and have it created through Redbubble, as I will only need the one for the display and many other print companies only do bulk orders or charge a large processing fee for just one bag. In my experience shipping takes around 1-2 weeks so I want to make sure its not left for too long. In the chance there is a misprint I want to allow enough time to fix any mistakes and reorder the product.

For the stickers I am going to start looking into local print companies as well as Chris to see if I could have them printed here at SIT and I could hand cut the stickers.
I also sketched out a few more plantboy poses and designs. I feel like I have enough sketches to work with, so now I want to narrow it down to around 8 designs. I think I want to do 4-6 different sticker designs and 1 Tote bag design. between now and next lesson I want to have the line art done for 8 of the designs.

I've also been going around stores to price up the costs of my display. I would like to get most things second hand, however I have priced up some things from Kmart and Warehouse stationary. The main thing I need to find is something that can display everything nicely and match within the projects theme. as second hand shopping is mostly luck I plan to keep visiting stores until I can find what I need.
