Stop Motion reflection
In the end I was really happy with how dreammare turned out. I think the two dark shots were the thing I would have definitely changed but the only way to fix that would be a reshoot which I really didnt have time to do.
One of my favourite parts of the stop motion process was making the assets. Making both of the armatures was a bit of a challenge cause I was having to work with a lot of different materials that I hadnt before. I also had to sew clothing, which was very much a trial and error process on my part, but I was happy with the end result. I think with more practice if I were to redo it I would want to see how much I could improve the armatures.

I think stop motion was really helpful in the fact that so many different things have to be done, so I ended up learning a lot of new skills like gaining more experience shooting with cameras, and how to edit with After effects, which I hadn't done before.getting more practice with character designs and animatics was also fun, even if I had done both for previous classes.
Shooting I felt was really stressful, just cause so much needs to be done in a few weeks. Trying to organise times where everyone can help with shooting proved to be difficult at times, but shooting on my own on some days definitely helped to get everything shot in time. Editing I found was fairly easy as it was mostly just matching up the shots to the animatic, however some shots were too short so some clips I had to move around or extend, but in the end I feel it matched the pacing of the animatic very well.
