Animation Reflection
I was really happy with the end result of my 2D animation Dream Warrior. I feel like I really got  the chance to learn a lot of new skills and things to animate. I really enjoyed doing effect animation with Deedees cloud sword forming. I also had a lot of fun with flowing clothing and hair. Those are both things I want to continue working and improving more on. I also really enjoyed the character design and background art aspect of the animation, as they're both things I find I really enjoy working on.
I felt my time management wasn't too bad, but I feel structuring my time better will allow me to decide if I can spend more time adding more frames into shots or polishing things slightly more to create a really good end product.
One thing I feel like I could work more on is my linework. I definitely found it annoying and time consuming having to go back and connect lines and clean up, and some shots I found the lineart could have been better. Using a pencil with a fixed width definitely did help some problems I had with animating in the first semester though.

I also really enjoyed rigging characters. While I do find I like the look of frame by frame animation better it was really fun to create the rigs, and I did end up using the character rigs in a few shorter shots and I liked how they looked.
Over the break I'm planning to work more on digital art and character designs. I really enjoyed making all the different backgrounds, so I definitely wanna practice environmental art and work on smaller details and trying out different styles.
