Think and Create finished progress

I managed to finish off my dynamic concept artwork for think and create and handed it in to be assessed. This version was one where I was finally happy with the ending motion, and also has a brief opening shot. While i am happy overall with the shot, I think a sideways scrolling concept art may have been easier to produce and might have had more of a chance to create a more dynamic and immersive landscape.

I am also happy with the paintings themselves, as I feel I have a better grasp over concept art techniques and conventions compared to my skill set when I first started.

Comparing it to the test shots I did I can definitely see an improvement, and taking the time to add in details and clean shading really helped it in the end

I really like the lighting and detail I managed to put within my piece, and I think my research into different concept art brushes and experiments with lighting layer types really helped the whole piece. Working in colour values first I feel also helped the overall composition and contrast of the scene
