Screen Arts presentation and Final experiments
I presented my screenarts experiments based on Terry Gilliams works today. The videos embedded didnt work but I managed to show the results of my first experiment in my finished stopmotion project Dreammare.
The video I had embedded contained the first take, which I wasnt really all that happy with, as well as the final version and a slowed down version so the different elements of the cutout model could be clearly seen.
The second video was a timelapse of my process animating the rigged characters in Toon Boom Harmony. You can see in the bottom right corner the node view where I was able to move around different parts of the rigged character and navigate the rigs easily. At the bottom of the screen you can see the individual frames that I was using to move the wolf creatures.
This was the result of the experiment. The animation cycles were a bit shorter than I wanted so I simply repeated the animated frames to make the loop double the length. This also made it fit the sound effects a bit better too.

Thank you for including these in your blog. Great experiments!
