Finished photoshop layers
Over the last week I have managed to finish all of the separate layers that make up the dynamic piece of concept art.I wanted the foreground to be the most detailed as it is closest to the camera with less noticeable details, textures and contrast in the foreground to emphasize distance.
I then exported all of the layers seperately in order to import them into toon boom harmony to seperate them using the top view. After this I will create movement through animation pegs and keyframes.

This is the furthest back layer, it features a pale washed out sky and some clouds. I wanted this to have a very light colour value as it would be partially the light source of the piece and would be the most washed out as it is far away.
The next layer was the mountain and waterfall. The base colour without the shade is notably lighter than the layer in front to give it a more washed out look. The details and texture on this layer is slightly more noticable to help define it further from the mountain behind it.
This layer again has darker more saturated colours as well as more notable textures as the layers get closer and closer to the viewer. This is also where I started bringing in a more noticeable vivid light from the sun as the contrast for light increases the darker and more saturated the colours get.
In this version I had painted the trees on a separate layer, however these two are now combined to stop the trees from floating around the scene.
The last layer is a standalone tree, I wanted to use this to help frame the focal point and to add more depth, as this is one ot the most detailed and darkest layers, which helps to demonstrate the depth of the piece.
