Today in class we went through all of the different materials we think we might need, and also looked at the materials already here to create a revised materials list. I also went through all of the different shots that are a part of the 2D animation and created a visual list of all the different backgrounds and character puppets that will have to be created out of paper for the animation. As we need black paper for the characters we will have to make them when we get those, however we can start with creating the 2D background and 3D characters over the next week or so.
In total we have 14 various backdrops to create, however some are very simple and wont take long to create at all. We will also have to see how the animation looks with the backgrounds and characters with the lightbox. For the different characters we will need several for the 4 different characters of the mother, father, monster and lilly.
