Stop motion Camera Lenses

Today in class we went over the various different lense types as well as how to change them out. We also got a brief overview of what Dragonframe is and how we will be using it for our animation. In my pair we managed to create a short stop motion experiment and overall I feel like it turned out a bit smoother than the one from the week previously. This was mostly due to the camera not shaking as we could take the photos through dragonframe and the camera and tripod wasnt disturbed.

After that we also began to plan out project animatic. We divided up the workload into three separate parts, the @D parts of the animatic, 3D parts and sound effects/music. I will be doing the 2D parts of the animatic, Migz will be working on the 3D parts of the animatic and Veronica will be working on the Music and sound effects for both parts.
We plan to have a basic outline which we will share next week and get feedback for, before having a final version ready for hand in on the week after. At this point we will combine the different parts of the animatic together in time for hand in. This also means we'll be able to get feedback or make changes before its finally due.

Because we also have our workstation setup I can bring in my light table as we were planning to use it for our cutout animation. We'll have to do some test shots to make sure that the camera works well with the light table, but that can be organised closer to shooting time.
