Stop motion proposal and Materials list

We've managed to finish off our proposal for our group project, which I annotated and explained the concept artworks of both the 2D and 3D characters for, as well as the artist models that influenced their styles. These included the music videos for The Wolf, The Rifles Spiral, as well as Lotte Reiniger and the movie Coraline.

The Feedback we received was to not get too hung up on the details and to focus on the main story of the relationship between the father and daughter.

We started putting together a list of the various pieces of equipment and materials we will need for the characters and the backgrounds of out animation. I filled out all of the materials I think will be needed for the 3D and 2D characters as I had an idea of what materials would be used when I was designing the characters. Because I also have a large light table at home I was planning to bring that in to use for the cutout animations background as that would give us a larger area to work with.

We also created a Gantt chart to better keep track of the timeline we need to be working on to make sure we will get the animation completed on time. I'm probably going to end up focusing on creating the 3D and cutout character models.

The main thing I'm going to have to look into is creating the hair and the clothing for the 3D model. At the moment we are planning to try and create synthetic hair using yarn. There area few online tutorials that detail how to go about it. The sewing side I have a sewing machine that could make things easier, but I will need to either create or modify a pattern for her dress and her hoodie.
