Final Backgrounds
Over the weekend and today in class I finished the last few backgrounds and shots I will need for my 2D Animation. A few of these shots needed to have multiple layers as they will feature some forms of animation, like the elevator doors needing to open and close, the clouds in outdoor shots and the faraway islands possibly moving etc.
The clock shot I'm planning to animate the hands to show the progression of the time, So I only needed to draw and colour the back of the clock and the wall.
For the office Shot, I wanted to make sure the focus would be on Deedee when it comes down to animating, so i created a shadow gradient on the top and bottom of the screen to better highlight the row Deedee will be sitting in, as well as making her sit next to darker hair colours so she will stand out a bit around her surroundings
For the shots that would have movement between layers, I wanted to make sure the lineart, flat colour and shading were separate so I could easily manipulate different aspects in the future easily.
