2D animation goals

Last semester I started working on the line work and flat colours of some of my backgrounds, which I intend to continue working on in the next few weeks. Because I don't have to create a brand new storyboard it will give me time to make sure the background art looks really polished. I'm hoping to have finished the line work of all the backgrounds by the start of next week.

I've begun to start colouring but I'm not happy with the hues and saturation of some of the backgrounds currently. I also want to investigate some of the different art styles used to colour backgrounds because I haven't done a lot of them and I feel like I have a lot to learn.


One of my Long term goals for this semester is to make sure that I'm keeping on top of all of my blogs so I don't have to catch up every few weeks like I ended up doing last semester. I'm planning to stick with the animatic I made last semester because I was really happy with the end product. I might try and rework it a bit to make the run time a bit shorter so it wont take as long to animate.
