Literature Sources

after switching to Narratology and story line development in the Marvel Cinematic Universe I've decided to start looking for in Depth sources relating to my new subject. One thing I'm really curious to know is all of the work that goes into creating such a large overlapping story line that can be seen in the MCU .

For my sources I've decided to mainly use Ebook Central and the Film and Television literature index available through the SIT website. Some of the keywords I've tried using keywords like Superhero, Narratology, Character Arc, Marvel cinematic Universe, Adaptions etc. and I seem to be getting a lot of useful resources. Using Advanced search also helps narrow it down to the more useful sources

I've found quite a few resources on character arcs too but not a lot of them directly relate to the superhero genre

While there are a lot of academic papers and journals on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a lot of them seem to relate mostly to the financial and business side of the avenger films. because Disney acquired Marvel studios and so many of the films have been smash hits in the box office, the majority of the sources that I have found have been mainly about that or audience reception to the films. however I have found several sources that focus on the aspect of changing the films from its comic book source into a Film, so I might slightly change my literature review to focus more around that
