Finishing literary review draft

The past week I've been mainly focusing on finishing other subjects due before the literature review so I haven't had a whole lot of time to work on the review. Its mostly been taking my annotations and rewording and reorganising them to make more sense and to have a more coherent flow to it. As well s that I've started to properly use APA referencing for my sources to make life a bit easier closer to the deadline so I can just focus on finishing the review as well as editing. Once I've finished a few other assignments I'm planning to start refining my ideas and writing more about the different ideas prevalent in the literature I've read.

Some interesting terms such as Multimodal Storytelling and Transmedial storytelling have been something I've started looking into, as I think they both have an interesting part in comic book adaptions, although they tend to relate mostly to consumer culture in regard to super fans rather than the general public that marvel is marketing its films to.

Multimodal storytelling of comics: based heavily on appealing to all the readers senses, frequently used in comics, makes use of the readers imagination.
Films: Visual and audio, shows the audience what to feel

Transmedial Storytelling: storytelling in one universe across several different media types
Comic books originate from the printer illustrated form but have now progressed into TV series, Movies, Videogames etc.

I think transmedial Storytelling is quite interesting related to Comic books, as its quite clear to see this for several heroes. Batman in particular is one i think of, as his character features in many critically acclaimed and financially successful media products across many different types of media. what started out as a comic has inspired many different Televsion shows, animated series, videogames, films, and even an anime production, proving its success on a global scale as well as across different media platforms.
