story boarding music and sound effects

In storyboarding I'm now beginning to add in sound effects and background music as well as timing out everything to make sure the sounds are in sync. I dont want there to be too much silence in my storyboard cause I find that when I watch things silence often breaks my immersion. having believable sound design I feel can really improve your work overall.


A list of all of the sound effects I thinkI might possibly need are sorted by scenes. these include:

Office scene
- Typing
Telephone ringing
background chatter
sighing
Chair sounds
clock ticking
Elevator ding
Doors closing

Home Scene
Door open/close
Footsteps
Landing on bed
angry sigh
Magic sound

DreamScene:
wind
Falling over
thud sound
Paper Rustling
Growling

So far I've managed to start working on layering different sound effects and music tracks to create a busy work environment, but I dont want too much going on so the viewer wont be confused
