Maya Chess Piece

For my Maya chess piece, I decided to study different architectural features often found in dead malls and I found that Fountains and pillars were a common occurrence. I thought a simple column might be a bit too easy to make, so I decided to go with a fountain design. Originally the top had a thin rod, but since these are likely to be 3D printed I thought reinforcing it might make the print less flimsy. I also wanted to make sure that the two parts of the fountain that the water would fall down could hold and direct water properly from the top pool to the bottom.
