people sketches

This week in drawing we begun to focus on fleshing out our drawings past the skeleton phase. I think I definitely work better on photoshop then I do on a canvas, as I usually tend to draw quite small, so sketchbooks and tablets seem to suit me better. getting used to drawing on such a big space does really force you to think about the strokes and lines you make before you commit to it though, which I feel like has helped my observational skills somewhat.

I also really like photoshop simply because if you do make a mistake you can easily tweak it using transform, or just hit control z. Real life is a bit less forgiving sadly.
